these are ruins of settlement, whether actual buildings that have been forgotten, markers of history being written by the victors. there is beauty amongst the shadows, and i hope to offer some window into the darkness. most of these ruins are located in the southwestern united states along frequently traveled paths. click here for a map of many of the locations…
